Background
I'm married to Mr. Gerena and am a Mom of 2 little ones, Ronin and Lenore. Everyone typically hears plenty of stories about the 2 of them and they enjoying coming to visit Robotics Competitions randomly. Ronin love Legos and wants to build robots when he grows up. Lenore likes to attempt to help with the cooking along with her favorite pink hippo named Strawberry.
I'm a self professed Geek and have been for a long time. This includes items from tv, movies, comics and video games. Some of my favorite things in geekdom are Doctor Who, Serenity, Game of Thrones, Stargate, Sherlock, Fables, Harry Potter, Skyrim, The Walking Dead and much of Marvel. I'm happy to talk about them outside of class but please not during.
I love Engineering also. I'm passionate about Problem Solving and thinking through the solution to a given problem be it from a textbook or MacGyvering something at home. These are crucial skills that are helpful in the most surprising places. I'm happy to spend every day making things and watching the journey of idea to final product.
